     Living Voices is an attempt to make contemporary organ music more accessible and easy to find.  Instead of treating modern compositions as external to a performing tradition, a comprehensive resource of music by many composers, complete with notes about their inspirations, background, and goals for each composition can help performers access the music by relating it to what they have already studied. 

     Each collection will be published currently as an audio resource, with extensive liner notes. By including an academic resource on the performance practice associated with each composition, I hope to bring the study of modern works to an elevated level, even with the study of long dead composers. It is my hope that these CDs will make this music accessible to all organists interested in pursuing solo organ repertoire.
